Fulford Harbour Ferry Terminal

Visitors wishing to get to Saltspring Island can also take ferries from Crofton on Vancouver Island to Vesuvius Bay, or from Tsawwassen (Vancouver) to Long Harbour.

Fulford Harbour Ferry Terminal

Ticket sales at Swartz Bay will end five minutes before the scheduled sailing time for vehicles and ten minutes before for walk-on passengers. Loading at Fulford Harbour will end three minutes before the scheduled sailing time for vehicles and five minutes before the scheduled sailing time for walk-on passengers. Reservations cannot be made for the Victoria to Fulford Harbour route, but are recommended for travel between the Southern Gulf Islands and Tsawwassen (Vancouver).

Fulford Harbour Ferry Terminal

Picturesque Fulford Harbour provides a warm, friendly welcome to Saltspring Island. The relaxed little community of Fulford is a favourite hangout for the locals and visitors alike, consisting of delightful old clapboard buildings that house cafes, a few craft shops, and bike and kayak rentals.

Island Hopping
Travelling between the Southern Gulf Islands and Northern Gulf Islands can be accomplished in small hops. Each of these islands is a world unto itself, each with its own history, culture and colourful characters - each island deserves at least a day or two for exploring.
