Hi Liz,
I am also from UK and looking to move to BC early next year, I have been involved with horses in the past only in a pleasure capacity and I would like to get involved in some way again.....I was also thinking about the trekking idea myself if there is a market for it, as a long term goal though as i dont have enough money to fund something like that yet! let me know if you would like to swap details and keep in touch? I am seriously considering moving to Maple Ridge.
