I am seriously considering selling almost everything I own and buying a one way plane ticket to Vancouver. I've lived in Ontario my entire life of 25 years and I'm just tired of it. The company I work for has an office out there so I'd have a job that I already love. I feel like I really need a change of scenery and being within reach of the ocean and the mountains would just be amazing. I think I'd fit right in considering just the other day someone asked me if I was a west coast girl.. I said no and asked why and he said that I just seem so chill. I guess thats a sign.. its time to pack up and go. So here I am trying to get answers to the million questions popping into my mind and hopefully you can help!

1. Where should I live? I'd be looking downtown I think.. or somewhere in a commutable distance. Whats a good neighbourhood thats not too expensive but not too much crime either? I'll be working pretty close to Rupert Skytrain Station.

2. Do I need to get a car or would it be possible to survive without one? How is the transit system I'm not too sure I understand what this skytrain is all about... is it sort of like a cross between the TTC subway and the Go Train?

3. I might consider biking everywhere like i did downtown Toronto. Are there any good bike trails?

4. Whats the weather really like and what kind of clothes do I need? What type of clothes should I leave behind?

5. Dating...? What are the men like? Are there lots of gorgeous and single available men?

6. Nightlife? Where are all the classy nightclubs located?

7. Is there anything major I should know about before I leave Ontario for good?
