The size of BC is vastly underestimated. Study the map of BC, and on a large scale version you will notice the long coastline and how many rivers, lakes and mountains there are. If its wilderness you're after, there are plenty of camping opportunities. Just be thoughtful and considerate, tread lightly, and pack out what you pack in (remove your garbage). Off course no camping will be allowed close to cities.
