Canada Place, Downtown Vancouver
The Port of Vancouver is the home port for cruise ships operating luxury summer cruises from Vancouver to Alaska, one of the world's most popular vacation cruises.

Every year, more than one million passengers on more than 300 sailings - represented by the major international cruise lines - pass through the Port of Vancouver's Canada Place, and Ballantyne cruise ship facilities.

Canada Place
Port Vancouver's premier Canada Place cruise ship facility is located in the city centre, near excellent hotels, shopping, dining and entertainment. Its distinctive white sail design, five-star hotel, and the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre make Canada Place an attractive start and finish to any cruise experience.

Ballantyne
Ballantyne, Port Vancouver's second cruise facility, is located near the city centre and just minutes away from Canada Place.

Parking is available on site at Canada Place, which has an on-site two-level parkade housing 770 stalls, operated by Citipark.

Embarkation & Disembarkation
If you are embarking in Vancouver, allow approximately one hour for examination of travel documents. Most ship embarkations begin at approximately 1 pm. Please check your travel documents before arriving at the terminal to avoid unnecessary waiting. Baggage handling is worry-free. After you check in at the cruise terminal, the next time you see your baggage will be in your cabin.

If you are disembarking in Vancouver, you will be able to claim your baggage in the Customs area in the terminal. Individual baggage carts are readily available.

Baggage Storage
For security reasons, on-site same-day baggage storage is available at Canada Place and Ballantyne cruise terminals, for cruise passengers only. Baggage storage services are provided at Canada Place by CDS Baggage. Tel: 604-303-4500.
