Roberts Creek Provincial Park is located in lush second-growth forest on both sides of Highway 101, 12 km west of Gibson's Landing on the Sunshine Coast.
Surrounded by Douglas-fir and cedar forests that are home to deer and Douglas squirrels, the campground has 21 vehicle/tent campsites, including one double, a delightful picnic area and a pebble beach in close proximity.
The 39-hectare Roberts Creek Provincial Park is wheelchair accessible and facilities include a sani-station near the campground entrance, but no flush toilets or showers. The park is open from May to September.
At low tide the cobblestone beach reveals sea stars, mussels and oysters, making this an ideal spot for some memorable beachcombing. Bring your beach shoes, as bare feet may find the cobblestoned coastline too rough for tender little tootsies.
A stroll along the trails is the best way to see wildlife within the park. From the shore it is possible to see whales, seals and sea lions and salmon fishing can be productive at the mouth of the creek.
Roberts Creek Provincial Park is located in the small community of Roberts Creek, and full services are available at Gibsons or Sechelt, the gateway to the Sunshine Coast on the Sechelt Peninsula.
