Qualicum River

This small stream
flows northeast from Cameron Lake and crosses Highway 19, approximately
5km northwest of Qualicum Beach.
Fishable length of the Little Qualicum River is 20km, and angling
pressure is heavy. Most
angling occurs in the lower river, with access principally by hiking
from Highway 19 (paved), and from the Little Qualicum Spawning Channel,
accessed by car via Melrose Road off Highway 4 near the Whiskey
Creek service station (8km southwest of Qualicum Beach).
The upper river can be reached via Little Qualicum Falls Provincial
Park, off Highway 4, 2km past Whiskey Creek.
