The Gordon River
flows southwards into Port San Juan north of Port Renfrew
on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island.
Access to the Gordon River is good from the Gordon River Main logging
road that parallels the river for most of its route.
The Gordon is a small, fast-flowing stream with coho runs in the
fall and a summer steelhead run in June and early July.
Winter steelhead also run in February and March. Cutthroat are caught
near the mouth of the Gordon River.
Fishing is invariably good for the few days after a rainfall.
